Automated Implementation Ofdistributed Real - Time Systems Usingreal - Time Object - Oriented

چکیده
This paper presents a systematic, schedulability-aware method for automated implementation of complex distributed real-time control systems designed with real-time object-oriented models. Our approach derives tasks in each node of a distributed system by grouping mutually exclusive transactions. It then assigns each task a feasible priority and preemption threshold. To allow for the automated analysis of the timing behavior of the derived task set, our approach exploits a schedulability analysis test based on response time analysis. This paper shows how a run-time system supporting the proposed approach is designed and how code generation is done under our framework. Our method solves the diicult task derivation problem and enables the rapid development of distributed real-time systems.

An important issue in implementation of a GIS system is preparation of data to be entered in GIS. To produce spatial data for GIS using photogrammetric techniques, conventional method is to apply photogrammetric and GIS systems individually (off-line procedure). This approach is costly, time consuming and somehow unreliable due to the fact that 3D photogrammetric model is not available at the ...
متن کاملSchedulability Analysis for Automated Implementations of Real-Time Object-Oriented Models
The increasing complexity of real-time software has led to a recent trend in the use of high-level modeling languages for development of real-time software. One representative example is the modeling language ROOM (real-time object-oriented modeling), which provides features such as object-orientation, state machine description of behaviors, formal semantics for executability of models, and pos...
متن کاملDIRECT : A Basis for Distributed Real - time Control Applications
The DIRECT activity (DIstributed Real-time ConTrol) aims at simplifying the construction of distributed real-time control applications by using object-oriented principles and tools. A control application is designed as a collection of real-time objects distributed over the nodes of a system. The objects are invoking each others operations. Interface definitions of object types are formally desc...

MITRE’S Evolvable Real-Time C3 (command, control, and communications) project attempts to develop an approach that would enable current real-time systems to evolve into the systems of the future. The project has chosen AWACS (Airborne Warning and Control System) as an example to test out the concepts and architectures to be developed. In this paper, we describe an object-oriented implementation...
متن کاملObject-Oriented Design of Real-Time Telecom Systems
Many engineers are still reluctant to adopt advanced object-oriented technologies (such as high modularity, dynamic binding, automatic garbage collection, etc.) for embedded systems with real-time constraints, because of their supposed inefficiency. We set ourselves into the context of building telecommunication systems with a standard object-oriented analysis and design approach. We describe h...
